Brothers Brandon Allday and Medium Zach began performing together as Big Quarters in 2000. Before forming Big Quarters, the brothers used to DJ at high school parties and then both moved to Minneapolis to attend college. Zach and Brandon began performing as EPL and then joined up with Adam "Snakebird" Garcia and released an album as EPL & Snakebird. After parting with Garcia, Brandon and Zach formed Big Quarters and in 2007 released their first album Cost of LIving.
